Baser Carlos Bocai Named Young Guns 22 Winner!

Baser Carlos Bocai has clinched a Young Guns 22 title! From 78 global finalists under 30—spanning design, illustration, art direction, and more—Carlos emerged as one of 33 winners from this prestigious competition.

As Associate Design Director at BaseNYC, Carlos also teaches “Decoding Identities” at Aprender Design. Since joining Base in 2022, he’s tackled award-winning projects like THC NYC, Murray's Cheese, and Phillips. A finalist for Young Guns 21 and COLORFUL in both 2022 and 2024, Carlos has also served on the 2023 LAD Young Talent jury and shared insights at WIX Playground's ‘Screen to Screen’ series on weaving brand design into web.
