Base Design is looking for a Business Development Intern to support our growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting with market research. What you will learn and do:
- Actively participate in growth and business development efforts, help managing client relations and identifying possible business opportunities and engaging with them
- Help craft compelling offers and presentations that effectively communicate our value and and expertise to new clients.
- Manage schedules, organize meetings, and develop engaging materials to facilitate productive discussions
- Tackle ad hoc tasks and special projects, collaborating across teams
- Help with the rollout of the local inbound marketing strategy
- Support the communication & PR actions : find relevant events and talks, help on tasks in collaboration with the communications manager (newsletter etc.), help translate the global communication efforts to the local market.
Qualifications:
- Critical thinking and creative problem solving
- Strong written and verbal communication in English - Dutch or French is a plus.
- Have good cultural awareness
- Ability to share insights and identify trends in beauty, hospitality & lifestyle.
- Excellent organization with attention to detail
- Preferred areas of study: Business, Communications, Marketing, PR.
- Excellent understanding of Excel, Word.
- Understanding of sales and marketing strategies & models
What we are looking for:
- Currently enrolled (3rd bachelor or master level) or recently graduated.
- Be culturally engaged and perpetually curious about the world around you.
- Think conceptually and have a desire to create meaningful projects.
- Be daring, not afraid to try new things and eventually fail at them.
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for shaping brands with a cultural impact
Program Details:
- Duration: 3 - 6 months.
- Hours: Full time position. Interns will be expected to work approximately 38 hours per week.
- Hybrid Work Policy: We’re all in the studio on Mondays & Wednesdays, work from home on other days is possible.
