Lola Philippart,
Business Controller BRU

Si on n’est pas curieux, on est foutu.
– Georges Charpak

Lola is one of the youngest forces joining the Base BRU team. In 2014, she finished her studies in Business Engineering at ICHEC, the Management School of Brussels. She implemented her acquired knowledge straight away during an internship at Base. Queen of organisation Lola likes paying close attention to the people surrounding her, to make sure everyone feels at ease. Lola is a constant learner, an inquisitive girl interested in a wide range of topics. Music occupies an important place in her life, she couldn’t live without it. From 60ies soul, rock and jazz to 80ies electronic music, she collects old vinyls by combing select stores and flea markets. Sensitive to trends, Lola also loves to follow the latest hits in fashion, art and culture in general. Give her any urban destination, and she’ll pull out a tailor-made city guide full of tips and addresses you never thought of. This mix of passions lead her to Base, where she works as a Business Controller since October 2014. This new function allows her to combine her management skills and cultural interests. Oh, and her excellent cooking skills. Because Basers are hungry monsters to be fed regularly and copiously.
