Creating a campaign for America’s premier college for women
In 2014, Wellesley launched a 4-year $500 million comprehensive campaign—the largest fundraising effort to be undertaken by a women’s college. Base was tasked with developing creative strategy, identity, campaign language, fundraising tools and a campaign website to create an emotionally compelling campaign narrative that would appeal to a large audience of donors. For the website, we helped Wellesley create an outlet for graduates to participate and share their fascinating stories, strengthening the bond of alumnae community and prompting donations. Within three months of their public launch, they reached 69% of their funding goal.
