BaseNYC is Seeking a Community Manager/Social Media Manager

BaseNY is looking for a Community Manager/Social Media Manager with 4 to 5 years of experience to join our multidisciplinary international team of strategists, designers, and developers in NYC.

The Community Manager/Social Media Manager must be a motivated, flexible, humorous, outgoing and detail-oriented manager who is excited about creating effective social strategies and leading the creation of unique micro-content that is timely, relevant, engaging, strategic and fun. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and evolving Base’s social/community presence.

  • Have an excellent understanding of all major social platforms

  • Understand and report on social analytics

  • Think creatively + strategically

  • Be a keen listener with the ability to interpret communications and propose sound solutions

  • Have an excellent understanding of earned and paid media

  • Be an exceptional communicator in person, by email, and in other written communications

  • Love design, words and language, and have a general cultural awareness

  • Cultural fit with Base – a must
