BaseMEL is looking for a Project Manager, an organized and proactive leader with an interest in branding, art direction, and digital design.

As a Project Manager at Base you will be to lead studio workflow, project planning, timelines, project budget oversight, and most importantly, maintaining alignment internally with the Base team and externally with the client.

We are currently searching for full-time candidates. We are currently working in a hybrid model and would expect candidates to be able to join us in the office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Project planning, budgeting, timeline management and resourcing.
  • Managing project progress and deliverables.
  • Managing relationship and communication with the clients.
  • Creative team support, ensuring deliverables meet the brief and scope.
  • Proof and review documents ahead of presentations.
  • Actively engage in the creative process from project commencement to completion.
  • Studio workflow, resourcing, and time-tracking.
  • Participate in business development efforts including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and closing agreements.
  • Administration support including payroll, invoicing, billings & reconciliation.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in a similar role in a creative agency environment.
  • Experience in accounting/project software including, or similar to, Xero, Harvest, Monday, and Google Drive.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative. Proactive. Positive. Rigorous.
  • Be culturally engaged and perpetually curious about the world around you.

Candidates must be based in Melbourne and have full working rights in Australia.
